We are dealing here with the most sacred sphere of human life: marriage. This sphere has been loaded down with so much garbage by sinful man that even believers no longer see the pure, divine foundation of marriage. We must be cleansed by the blood of Jesus from all worldly thoughts and opinions about marriage. Let us then return to the Word of God and see what it says about marriage.

Marriage is God’s holy institution: it is intended for the reproduction of the human race. This institution stands for all time and cannot be changed by human thoughts, fleshly lusts or by modern trends. There is no such thing as a modern marriage, only modern abuse of marriage.
