Keeping our eyes focused on Jesus means daily, continual fellowship with Him. Although this is gloriously simple and uncomplicated, we always tend to make it difficult. Many of us live today as though the veil in the temple has not been torn yet, as though we don’t have direct access to the sanctuary, as though we had to fulfill certain conditions in order to enter. This is not true. The Scripture says, “And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom” (Mark 15:38). This took place when Jesus died on the cross at Calvary. From that moment on, the way was open. Now we can enter into the heavenly sanctuary as often as we like, just as it is written in Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
