BEAST Part II
The ten horns of Revelation 17:7 Coincide with the Ten horns of Daniel 7:7. These are the leaders of the nations of the final great war empire, the revive Roman Empire. This is the same empire that Daniel envisions and is describe as the “fourth Beast,” which is dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong.” This clearly relates to the beast of Revelation. However, it’s important to observe that Daniel is describing a Political and geographical entity while John, in Revelation, is referring to a personality. John’s beast is not simply a force, nation, or power; the beast have all of the characteristics of personality. He is the other “horn,” or the “little one” who comes out of the nations, as Daniel describes, who possesses “eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth uttering great boasts”— meaning he is worldly wise and controls the nations by what he says ( Daniel 7:8 ). This is the same beast Daniel describe in Revelation.
The Antichrist is called “the beast” approximately 32 times in the New Testament- and only in the Apocalypse. However, the designation “Antichrist” is refer to in 1 John 2:18 , thought the apostle John speak also of the spirit of Antichrist that foster a denial of God the Father ( verse 22 ), and an Antichrist like deception of what is truth ( 4:3; 2 John 7 ). The Apostle pauls mentions him in much detail in 2 Thessalonians 2 as the lawless one whose coming is energized “in accordance with the activity of Satan, with all Power and signs and false wonders” ( 2 Thessalonians 2:9 ).
